Turning the tables on activists

Greenpeace has discovered that invading the workplace can be as hazardous as finding toxins there.

Growing ever more corporate as the world’s largest environmental lobby group, Greenpeace was spoon-fed workplace invasion 101 from the oil industry, and for safety’s sake may be forced to rethink its strategy.

With the practice of popping up wherever called, Greenpeacers are at the ready to move out with their props of banners and placards in tow.

Thirty-five Greenpeace protesters decided to storm the International Petroleum Exchange (IPE) in London, last Wednesday. According to the Times of London, they slipped into a closing door and then roared onto the trading floor, blowing whistles and sounding foghorns in what has become typical, "in-yer’-face" Greenpeace style.

More infamous for melees at sea where they prevent ships from coming into port, Greenpeace’s mission at the IPE was to paralyze oil trading. Their mission failed and Greenpeace was paralyzed from protesting.

The initially taken-by-surprise traders--most of them under 25 years old--rushed the protesters. They pushed filing cabinets over on top of the Greenpeacers, kicking and punching them with "we-should-be-allowed-to-work gusto before forcing them to retreat.

Two Greenpeacers were actually hospitalized, one with a broken jaw, the other with concussion.

One protester concluded: "I have never seen anyone less amenable to our point of view."

Whoever said that halting someone at work was a sensible way to get one’s point of view across?

The vision of young co-eds taking down aging Greenpeace activists with graying ponytails is something the environmental lobby’s spin doctors will have to work at.

After years of being bullied in the workplace and the schoolyard, the victims of leftwing activists are starting to take a stand.

Long before young traders decided to take on Greenpeace, animal rights activists were sent . . . .

Wow! Made my day.

Perhaps a group of men in power ties should invade the offices of Greenpeace?

Shalom.

This is good! Thanks for the ping.

Have you read michael crichton's "State of Fear" yet? If you liked this thread, you will LOVE the book. I might give a copy to all my Liberal friends for Christmas next year when it gets to paperback.

I’ve never seen anyone less amenable to listening to our point of view.

This man's deductive reasoning is immaculate.

The only question is, why hasn't he been snatched up by the philosophy dept. of Princeton University?

DEEP THOUGHTS

My yesterday:

After moving less than half a block in 20 minutes (one block away from from Moscone), a bunch of bicyclists started riding between the cars, leader with a bull horn, shouting something about taking over the streets.

He had the horn pointed back wards so I didn't hear him coming. Durn! he got away!

However, I popped my door open in front of the third or so cyclist in the string. (I did look first to make sure he had room to stop).

He screams "You effin' clymer!!!" (OK, I cleaned it up a little, so sue me...)

I looked up smiled sweetly and said "That makes two of us..."

Totally messed them up. They had to stop and regroup. His buds split leaving him with two young "ladies" to protect him from the mean man in the car. Boo fricking hoo

I closed the door and he started to pass by and continued to berate me. When he was adjacent to the door I popped it open at him, not to hit him, but to persuade him to move along.

He darn near fell off his bike trying to dodge me.

"We're going to call 911!!!"

"Don't bother, I'll call for you" which I did. (The line was busy)

He and the two chicks decided that it was past their collective bedtimes or something and split.

Felt GOOD...

The day I LIVE for is the day that the GPs show up at Daytona or the Black Hills Rally at Sturgis and tell the crowd that leather is murder. They just might have to rethink their definition by the end of the day.

I would pay to see GreenPiece get their butts stomped at Daytona just for the fun of it and for bragging rights.

I think they need to dub that regularly scheduled, puerile leftist stunt with a new name.

Your point, a very valid one at that, should be filed with the author of the posted article.

I just posted an excerpt from the original article

Send of few of 'em up here to North Idaho. I could get more than a few together for a reception. LOL

It's real funny we just don't see any of these fools around here, must be the reputation the idiot Aryans have given us. I guess there really is a silver lining to every cloud. Personally I thought Richard Butler and his ilk gave us a bad rep. Maybe not. I have no desire to meet any of these pukes unless it is at the end of my fist.

I'm really getting tired of these so-called activists cramming their opinions down our throats with no fear of reprisals. We should send those kids a couple hundred gallons of ice cream as reward for standing up to these loons.

"make the students aware of the hazards of drinking milk" INDEED!

People should have reacted earlier!

PETA and GREENPEACE savages are bullies and the only way to stop bullies is to give them a taste of their own tactics. Ridicule helps a lot too! Those kids in Aberdeen were wonderful. LOL
