T Wayne you have my prayers for Cookie's full and complete recovery and your well being during this time. Remember to eat and sleep well, those two things make a lot of difference in your state of mind and how you hold up and are able to be there for Cookie. She needs you operating on all burners.

God's divine plan is not known to any of us, but His healing powers are great, and for this I will be praying.
When my grandson had a stroke, I was devasted. I surrendered my complete being to God, as taught at my mother's knee, that "May God's will be done". My grandson survived and is doing better than we thought would ever happen.
Trust in God. Much loving thoughts sent your way with attached prayers.

I am agreeing prayer for Cookie and you. I had a stroke (TIA) a few years ago and am doing okay now. With the Lord, all things are possible.

Just returned from the hospital.
Cookie's speach is better already and she is in good spirits.
New CT scan shows no new bleeding and the Dr. said that this was a very small bleed.
She may be moved out of ICU this evening.
My heartfelt thanks to all of you who have prayed for us.

Cookie is making a little progress but it is going to be a long process. The Drs. are talking about 2 to 4 weeks in rehab after she gets out of the hospital.
Again, thanks for you continued prayers. This is the best group on the web.
