I just admitted my wife to ICU suffering from a stroke.
While I am not a frequent poster, I read FR every day and have seen the support the folks here give to others.
I have been the receipent of the Lord's blessings many times in my life and ask for your prayers for Cookie's recovery.

I lift up your dear wife to God, T Wayne - and I also lift you up as well. God is with you and with her even now; He loves you both and will guide you through this.
Make sure to ask about t-Pa (tissue plasminogen activator) - it must be administered within three hours of stroke, but is VERY important. Make sure to ask for it by name, and don't assume they already are doing it.
I am praying for you even now. Father, go with him and his loving wife, and heal her. In Jesus name I pray it...

Tom, I'm very sorry to learn about your wife. Prayers have been sent in the name of Jesus, for her total recovery. I also prayed that God will give you strength and comfort during this difficult time.

She had a hemorrhagic stroke that appears to be fairly small.
You folks are fantastic. Only on FR at 2:30AM do you get this response.
