Bagging altogether for a minute the issue of abstinence, these 'survival packs' and sex courses are not education - they're sex instruction.
The real shame is that they aren't teaching college kids how to have psychologically healthy sexual relationships. It's more like encouraging binge drinking for the netherregions. Then if you feel any regret, they tell you to liberate from twentieth-century thought.
And it all fits in with the self-gratifying attitude of modern American elitism. I think the Europeans just don't care anymore about bourgeouis middle-class mores, but in America they've been rationalizing and glorifying this sort of stuff for too long.
