I second BullDog108's comments: Keep AMD and ditch Norton SystemWorks (NSW). That is, unless you know how to disable everything in NSW except Norton AntiVirus. Why? Mainly because NSW is a complete system resource hog, and it'll slow your entire machine down.
I finally Threw my NSW in the closet and use Norton Anti virus Corporate edition and it works fine on both my AMD and Intel (Windows ME and Windows 98), I don't like XP.
