Is MoveOn.Org a Failure?
The National Ledger ^ | March 3. 2005 | CK Rairden

Posted on 03/03/2005 8:31:27 AM PST by Coastal

MoveOn.Org's failures are nothing new. It's really difficult to spin any victories for the dot com group that have made it outside the Democratic Party. Their latest "victory" was getting Howard Dean elected as the head of the DNC, but the biggest cheerleaders for that move were conservatives. They do like to believe they are winning though. Even on their Web site, they have a section listing MoveOn.org's recent "victories."

But only ten "victories" are listed from June of 2004. And one of those is a clear loss as it cites the fact that "36 Senators Object to Gonzales' Confirmation as Attorney General." That's setting the bar fairly low as Alberto Gonzales is now America's first Hispanic Attorney General.

Heck no! It's a tremendous success for conservatives everywhere in this country. I sometimes think that the true silent MoveOn partner is Karl Rove, it's genius to have an organization like this point out the liberal lunacy of today's Democratic Party.

MoveOn is directly responsible for contributing to W's victory, and their support of Dean for DNC chief will continue that grand tradition of giving victories to Republicans and conservatives for the foreseeable future.

According to my standards, it's been a smashing success. It - with the help of its avatar, Dr. Demento Dean, will ensure GOP majorities for a long time to come.

Good job, Agent Rove!

One should note that Howard Dean is the first DNC Chariman that has remained in the closet. Mr. Dean refuses to put himself on any of the TV news/talk shows where he might be questioned with "real" questions. He remains in the closet meeting only with "friendly" left-wing, liberal, traitor Democrat audiences. Soon, however, the "phony" bubble will burst, and Mr. Dean will have to face political reality!!!

Perhaps with a whole lot more money, they can turn it around.

I'm wondering if it might be time to send MoveOn.org a couple bucks along with a note of thanks for that particular victory. I'd sure like to see them pursue more of the same.

Maybe they'd respond by putting me on their mailing list. I love it when the enemy sends me a Business Reply Mail envelope so that they can pay the postage when I stuff it full of junk mail and send it back to them.

I can't see where Move-On was anything other than a cash sink and RNC target of opportunity.

MoveOn's biggest problem is their alliance with Indy Media, who has provided much of the networking for them. The first head of the Independent Media Center is the law partner of president of the National Lawyer's Guild, tieing MoveOn inextricably to the radical left.
