Authorities have made a major break in the case of the slain Jersey City family, with two suspects scheduled to be arraigned today.
Although the Hudson County prosecutor's office isn't releasing the names of the two people or saying what the charges are, local press reports one of them is a former tenant of the building where the Coptic Christian family lived and was found murdered Jan. 14.
As WorldNetDaily reported, Hossam Armanious, was found in his home with his wife and two daughters -- Sylvia, 15, and Monica, 8 -- bound and gagged with their throats slashed.

It's about time they arrested someone. I had come to believe they weren't going to solve this.
I'm curious about the evidence in this case. The news is reporting a lot of things as fact but I wonder if they got confessions or what.
I, too, am very curious. I started following this case only recently. There was a story the other day about the bank autoteller card of the father having being used since the murders. That could have triggered a breakthrough in evidence on the case.
Don't want to speculate...but I am speculating that if they were not Muslim, we would know their names already.

Why aren't the police disclosing names? Could it be they are protecting the identities of Muslims and aren't ready to handle the media questions?

McDonald and Sanchez?
I bet the are not Muslims and are Catholics.
FOX reported that one of the children recognized one of the suspects and that caused them to kill the family. That kind of thing could only come from a confession and at least one of the suspects is claiming that he didn't kill anyone.
I'm curious to see how this fills out.
New Jersey Department of Corrections records show that on Feb. 22, 2002, McDonald was sentenced to three years in the slammer for distributing drugs on school property.
He was paroled on Sept. 9, 2003, after serving about 18 months.
Seriously doubt if these ex-cons are practicing Christians, especially if they committed the crime.
Perhaps MacDonald's girlfriend got the information? The family downstairs gets murdered, boyfriend suddenly has lots of unexplained cash, info comes out about the ATM card... Either she got suspicious or got pressured & maybe was wired?
