There was a time I would have agreed with you. My complaint about cigarettes I guess has to do with consistency. If it was anything else, it would have been banned completely years ago. Money and addiction does strange things to people's common sense.

Well, I don't consider it an addiction.  I smoke because I enjoy it.  I am not fat and I can't drink anymore.  I have to have ONE bad habit! heh!

I can't believe you are all for government control when you are a FReeper.  I just can't believe it.

The politicians are addicted to the money they keep making off of tobacco.<

The issue is not one of health, merely revenue. Otherwise tobacco, alcohol, saturated fat, candy bars, etc. would have either been banned long ago or simply left alone.
