Maybe they can recycle another has-been like Diane Sawyer or Connie Chunks to re-vive their ratings.

I skimmed over an article on this topic recently because I wasn't even aware there ever was a 'Jane Pauley Show'.
To: pissant
I didn't even know I wasn't watching it in the first place.

"Jane Pauley" launched with mediocre ratings and was never able to build momentum with daytime viewers. She would've been more successful if she could've gotten the guests to start brawling with each other...while the studio audience chanted "Pauley, Pauley, Pauley".

Ms. Pauley obviously spent way too much time and effort promoting the conservative agenda. And we all know what happens when one does that (Rush, Boortz, Medved, et al).

Caught a little of it a couple of times. She was horrible to the point that it was painful to watch. Just a terrible interviewer.
One show I caught was about the mother who had invitro and produced twins, one white and one black. The lab mixed up donors. Fascinating story and Jane managed to make it horribly boring.

I wonder what Rosie O'doughnuts is doing these days.
On second thought, I really don't.

the reason i stopped watching junk like this 15 years ago is because the message is the image.
the image is how she looks, how her guests look, etc., always loaded with lots of ideology.
in contrast, talk radio is about ideas. there are no images to get hung up in.
