Actually, its a very old one.

The House of Rothschild was the primary European Banking organization that benefitted the most from the Federal Reserve Law. Baron VonRothschild was once quoted as saying, "Give me control of a country's money, and I care not who makes the laws."

This was the source of the "Jewish Bankers own the country" bit that was going around in the '70's
