The NRA folks, the Christian Faithful and the "America Firsters" are all important folks in our coalition, but it would be sheer folly to give the keys to the Republican car to any of them. Our coalition partners serve the party best by sitting in the back seat, occasionally offering suggestions.
Remember guys, President Bush is not at all happy with Tancrendo, and he has made that plain. You are either with our president, or against him. And if you oppose him, you are political history. End of story.
