Ho ho ho and a bottle or rum. (I loved Treasure Island).
LOL! Cute!
This issue is asy to solve. Turn the fire hoses ont the boarders. Preferrably with steam.
Well, sir, I am confused.
I never paid attention to boats; they are not a large part of life here in the center of the United States.
But it seems to me, if I owned a boat or yacht or ship or tanker, I would also have certain, uh, "security devices" on board.
These floating vehicles cost a lot of money; they are well worth protecting.
So there were all these Norwegian ships, in an area known to be rife with pirates.....and no one was standing watch, no one had a firearm or other defensive weapon?
A lot of countries are very hostile to visitors possessing weapons. Boats/ships that dock in multiple foreign countries might have a serious problem knowing when they are in violation of whatever countries weapons laws.
There are many documented cases of Americans being thrown in Mexican hellhole prisons because they innocently, inadavertantly or knowingly carried weapons or even just ammo across the border.
A few of these cases involve weapons on US ships that docked in Mexican ports.
Okay, thank you--that goes a long way in explaining that; I just never thought of it.
