I was looking for the numbers of the Circuit(appeals) Court judges. Does anyone dispute the AP count?

Democrats have blocked 10 of Mr. Bush's 52 appeals court nominations through filibuster threats, while allowing Republicans to confirm 34 others...

"allowing" is an amusing choice of word. I'd like to see the Republicans grow a pair of balls and make these obstructionist 'rats TRULY FILIBUSTER...make them talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk.

And then I'd like to see the Republicans remind America that is was the Democrats who also filibustered civil rights legislation.

Any doubt as to why this one made it thru? This from 2004:

Senator Clinton Praises New York Judicial Nominee
November 16, 2004

Calling it an “absolute delight” to testify on his behalf before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton enthusiastically endorsed the nomination of Buffalo Native Paul Crotty to a seat on the federal bench. The Committee, today, considered Crotty’s nomination to the bench in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

"Paul has distinguished himself in both the public and private sectors,” Senator Clinton said. She cited his private sector work as a practicing attorney and as Group President for New York and Connecticut for Verizon Communications. Crotty joined the company in 1997.

Senator Clinton also highlighted Crotty’s service on the Lower Manhattan Development board, which was created after the September 11th terrorist attacks to help spur the recovery of Lower Manhattan. “In serving in that capacity, Paul has embodied that tremendous New York spirit and determination.
