I'm all for military budgets that support military research for military projects. Somehow, I don't think that's what the lefties have in mind. Perfect example of the kind of research they want: the Army just took delivery of a pickup truck that uses a fuel cell. I doubt it was the Army's idea to pay for anything with a fuel-cell. It wouldn't make good combat vehicles. Fuel cells use hydrogen. Remember the Hindenburg?
I trust Rummy's decisions far more than those of Clinton administration hacks who cut the military in half. And now they are complaining about cuts?? In the NYTimes? Somebody's ox must be getting gored.
