Too bad about DePaul. It once was a decent university before it decided to totally capitulate to political correctness and left-wing teachers. The School for New Learning is an utter farce. Be sure, though, its sister Chicago university, Loyola, isn't far behind.

Including but also beyond the open anti-semitism on our campuses, the intolerance of any views other than those of the politically correct left is reminiscent of the atmosphere pervading German campuses in the 1930's.

It's disgusting, but unfortunately it's not unusual considering that leftists dominate colleges and universitites across the country and how they turned a number of departments into the places of indoctrination rather then education. I think David Horowitz "Academic Bill of Rights" is a right start to do something about this outrageous situation. I would also encourage state and federal legislatures to begin wielding unashamedly a subsidy weapon--stop subsidizing (in the form of State or Federal Student Loans or grants) the departments or studies or individual scholars that are stifling free speech and promote Leftism.
