I'll bet that's exactly what the photographer had in mind. I did portraits for a few years and I know that a photographer can make you look pretty stupid if he halfway tries. This was a obvious hatchet job.

You're right, but she's cute, so who cares? ;) VDH rules, and makes for engrossing reading. I think many political thinkers miss that quality--readability. It takes a good writer to not dumb the material down while making his work entertaining.

I enjoy AC's columns and appearances on TV but even her fans must admit she's trying to get the libs' goat rather than get across a cohesive conservative message. My favorite writers aren't trying to "zap" the other guy--they put forth their message, and the "zapping" will take care of itself.

She's entertaining, but she's not a great thinker. She DOES come up with one or two great nuggets per column, but she could be so much more if she weren't writing her columns while imagining the liberals reading them.
