Sorry, I despise Penn...but thought his acting was very good in Mystic River, Sweet and Lowdown, State of Grace, 21 Grams, The Falcon and The Snowman.

He gives off the impression of being a naive and idealistic 20 something who'll grow out of it. Then you realize that he's in his mid 40s.

Never have seen any of them, but his best acting role outside of fast times was in team America.
