Well actually, Jefferson Davis was a continuation of presidents of the truly free country, the CSA, the former (USA) ceasing to exist after Lincoln decimated the constitution.

He was president of the congress for a couple of years, but the office of the Presidency as we now know it wasn't created until 1789.
Sorry no Presidental library for him, and no pile of money for Mr. Stanley.

We do understand that this story is talking about U.S. The Articles of Confederation...replaced by the U.S. Constitution in 1789...
This story has nothing to do with the Southern Confederacy .
