You must have stayed near a paper mill.Yep, or a tanning mill like I was near when I attended St. Francis College in Biddeford. Wonder if it's still there.

You must have stayed near a paper mill. When we were first house hunting a realtor showed us a few places in Old Town.
Madame Dufarge said, "There's no way we're living in Stinky Town." The realtor said, "Oh, you don't even notice the smell after a while."
We rolled our eyes and moved on. :O)
