I agree - a bit toooooo far right for me.

I appreciated her humor and we all need to be roasted now and then, and who can do it better than our wives. And I do believe she did it with excellent taste and came off as 'polished' as she always does. However, all that being said, I do wish that Mrs Bush did NOT give reference to "Desperate Housewives" as she did.

I was very surprised that Laura did the horse joke.

Very funny, but still inappropriate.

I agree...I read her jokes and they were funny and done out of love for the Pres but I did not like the "Desperate Housewife" bit...

Some of it was cute and funny, but some of it was tasteless and inappropriate. I really like Laura, but was disappointed in some of the jokes. Overall, I don't think she did herself or her husband any favor by that comedy skit.

I guess that's why God created so many different opinions, so we all have one to use..LOL
