I wrote Mr. Barrett personally on the matter. It was outrageous that the Sheriff out there (Was it L.A.?) would acquire one of his guns solely to frighten the masses and push for gun control with it. It has always been (and will always remain) the shooter, not the equipment, who makes the shot count.
