Clear skies now a bad thing?

Our planet's air has cleared up in the past decade or two, allowing more sunshine to reach the ground, say two studies in Science this week.
Reductions in industrial emissions in many countries, along with the use of particulate filters for car exhausts and smoke stacks, seem to have reduced the amount of dirt in the atmosphere and made the sky more transparent.
That sounds like very good news. But the researchers say that more solar energy arriving on the ground will also make the surface warmer, and this may add to the problems of global warming. More sunlight will also have knock-on effects on cloud cover, winds, rainfall and air temperature that are difficult to predict.

I'm confused... I'd like to know what others think, but for me, this makes global warming even more convoluted and difficult to follow.

Global Warming is a pseudo-scientific shakedown scam.
It is a way to convince successful, industrialised nations to reduce their economic output and reduce their standard of living.

It is perfectly simple - the only solution that will work will be for all the first world to give all their resources to the third world and everything will be all wonderful once again.
Oh, and socialism. Because there is never a smog problem with socialism. </sarc>

That's funny.....More stuff in the air bounces solar energy back down to the earth (greenhouse effect)......and less stuff in the air allows more solar energy to pass through in the first place.....
More, or less, stuff in the air causes globull warming.....

More sunlight will also have knock-on effects on cloud cover, winds, rainfall and air temperature that are difficult to predict.So...you're writing an entire article about something that's totally inconclusive, and calling it news. Must be a slow day.

"...this makes global warming even more convoluted and difficult to follow."
Just remember this, Jay...where Global Warming is concerned, just follow the money. People are PAID to provide "evidence" of Global Warming, and facts be d@mned if those very facts get in the way of Junque Science!
This all stems from Liberals actually thinking that the Universe revolves around people, (Read: THEM) when in reality we're just fly specks on this Big Blue Marble and she's gonna do what she wants to do. :)
Good reading and "myth" debunking found here:

Very much like the theory pushed last summer that global warming was going to cause global cooling. Obviously they had looked at the weather predictions for this last fall/winter/spring which has been abnormally cool and wet in most of the US and possibly the rest of the northern hemisphere.
When you think about it, we have been taking extreme measures since the sixties to quell polution, but things just never seem to get better according to the environmental experts. If they got better, then the environmental experts would not be needed.

That sounds like very good news. But the researchers say that more solar energy arriving on the ground will also make the surface warmer, and this may add to the problems of global warming. All these years they have been telling us the polluted skies trap reflecting heat from the sun, and therefore global warming is the result (regardless of the fact that they can not reliably measure it).
Now we are told that that same heat escapement thru clear skies is to be discounted and thereby spells our doom.
They can't have it both ways.

Somehow that might be because the same people who espouse global warming are the same people who espouse evolution, and are the same people who love the United Nations and one world socialism. Oh just one big happy convoluted family of freaks........Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha..........LOL
