And in the third world there is no pesky, opinionated, angry middle class to worry about...

And any cops who won't take the payoffs, and reporters who blab the truth, you just have them killed for a few dollars or pesos.

The ghosts of Presidents Johnson (both Andrew and Lyndon) and Nixon may soon haunt this White House.

Huh??? I agree 100% that Bush is wrong on illegals. But Andrew Johnson, LBJ and Nixon? Bush would have to do a hell of a lot more terrible things to deserve such a black mark of history as this.

I saw a picture of a Mexican reporter who got the AK-47 treatment. The treatment was fatal...

As usual, instead of doing what we ought to be doing, which is mining the border, the answer the saps prefer is turning the US into a police state where every citizen is tattooed with government ID. I think I'm gonna puke. The people in this country are too stupid to be saved.

When we get attacked again and the cause is lax immigration enforcement, will you still continue your nonsense?????

Oh that's right a native born American would never attack America.

johnny jihad, probably to you, was just trying to find himeself at that al-quida camp.

Why do people think we're not going to suffer another major terrorist strike because of our porous borders? It's not an issue of if, but when, as well as the severity of the attack.

And I guarantee you, if it happens, and there's an impeachment of the President, God forbid, you'll see the careers of a great number of U.S. Senators and Congressmen come to a screeching halt, too. I live in Nebraska, and the idea of removing our Senator Hagel from office just makes me feel warm all over.

Mexifornia is the worlds largest financial disaster waiting to happen IMHO. We'll see if 1000 square foot houses really are worth a million dollars after Mexico regains sovereinty over SoCal.

Medved is hooked on hearing his own voice most of all as is the case with most moralists. It needs to be asked what is it he actually wishes to conserve. My guess is that what he would say is quite shocking. Besides this conservative hasn't a clue about the history of California besides what he has read from his leftist friends.

re: If our borders are not secured and our government does not become more selective in whom they are bringing here Citizenship in the United States will not mean much. )))

Oh, it'll mean something. We'll be the suckers who pay for the social services for the Rich Guy's slaves.

I would 100% agree with an Impeachment if that were the case. The GOP has sold us out on this and expect us to keep donating money to them. Incredible.

If we get attacked again and it is found that they came through Mexico illegally, GWB is done as far as his legacy goes. And rightly so, he has ignored the 100000000000lb gorilla in front of him.

Any quick check history for dummies would show Mexico City claimed certain territories, today's Southwest, but never was able to govern them. The wild Indians (comaches, apaches) held sway there until AMERICANS moved in en masse with the US Army Calvary.

”To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” Teddy Roosevelt (7 May 1918)

YES, I voted for Bush (reluctantly) more so to prevent a traitorous SOB (The Snake) from occupying the White House, then for GW.

And while I support some the President’s policies and positions, woe be the one who “dares” tell me I CANNOT criticize him—or anyone else—when I believe he is wrong!

I will tell that person the same thing I told Senator (RINO) McSwine last year when he “suggested” that everyone should refrain from raising Vietnam as an issue:

I told him he was a hypocrite and as far as I (and ALL other Nam Vets were concerned) we had “EARNED” the right to criticize Kerry,--and "whoever else" we wanted to, including The President,--or him, McCain!!!!

I supported the President for both terms of office. I made a lot of noise aimed at the Repubo party about the sunsetting of the 1994 AW ban prior to the 2004 election. The Republican Congress saved Bush on that one.

Its clear that I could never vote for a RAT again, no matter what he or she promised. The RAT party does not have the best interests of America at heart. If they once again assume the majority and or the White House, we will see that they resume old habits. At that point, I figure amnesty for illegals is a done deal.

We need to work with the President to convince him of the error of his ways relative to the illegal alien issue. The sunsetting of the AW ban did not happen in a vacuum - a lot of people worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen. We can do the same for the border problem.

...and for this reason someone in the Senate should bring up the issue of impeachment NOW. (I am a Bush supporter).

A'hem. Articles of Impeachment are commenced and drawn up in the House of Representatives. Tom Tancredo is already on board, but not until the next 9-11. Even as it is, Tancredo is on some sort of Karl Rove hit-list. Won't let him into the White House. I believe they are trying to not just isolate him, and neutralize his GOP caucus influence, but, if the rumors have substance... they are actively investigating candidates to run against him in Colorado.

If an indictment of Impeachment is approved by them, it thence goes to the Senate for a "trial". I wouldn't count on the current saps in the Senate "good old boys and gals" all...who wouldn't dream of opposing the MSM on this...doing their duty. Anyways, there is a large number of equally complicit in their own ranks. They should impeach themselves also. Don't hold your breath.
