Mexican Gang Members Using Arizona as Corridor
KOLD 13 News Tucson (CBS) ^ | May 9, 2005

Posted on 05/09/2005 9:30:05 PM PDT by Travis McGee

PHOENIX, Ariz. Federal authorities say members of a violent Mexican gang are using the Arizona border as a corridor to the country.

In the past year, Border Patrol agents have arrested about ten members of Mara Salvatrucha -- a notorious international street gang in Mexico.

Yet according to federal and local law enforcement officials, the gang members don't appear to stay in the state.

The gang is commonly known as M-S-13 and has been linked to murders from Honduras to Los Angeles to Virginia.

Original Mara Salvatrucha members were guerrilla fighters who fled the Salvadoran civil war in the 1980s.

Police gang unit supervisor Paul Ferrero says Phoenix is not a fertile ground for M-S-13 members because of other active Mexican-American gangs and the relatively small population of Central Americans here.

"I'll be sure to put my Detonics CombatMaster next to my King James Version."

Add a good quality belt knife, a spare magazine or two and you're good to go.

The surveillance state will continue along as the National ID--er, Real ID act is passed into law. We'll now have a National ID card (Federally-standardized Drivers License), but the terrorists will keep a-comin' across the border.

The president doesn't worry about these people crossing our border because he knows they're only coming here to work hard. There's plenty of work in America for an experienced machete wielder who has a face covered with tattoos.

He can do population control at the L.A. County Jail.

It sickens me to think I will leave America a cess pool for my grand children.

"Today, criminal aliens account for over 29 percent of prisoners in Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities and a higher share of all federal prison inmates." from an article here Also saw in the paper today that the fed govt is giving $47 million to Texas to compensate hospitals for care for illegal aliens. There also that 911 issue. Crime, bankrupt health care system, terrorist threats. Is it really worth the costs and risks just to import a few diseases? It appears that the Wash DC (Dems and GOP) crowd is doing more than just fiddling, they are pouring gas on the flames.

Far as I know, that tattooed POS is not Mexican. He is a Guatemalan gang member. M-13. "Mara Salvatrucha"

Hezbollah - in Michigan?

That's the first I heard of that, you would think that would be all over the papers and TV. Then again I am not all that surprised.

Actually my views aren't liberal. They are more to being sanity to an immigration system that has been out of whack for 40 years.

No, they're "undocumented pharmaceutical distributors".

At another site that we are not allowed to post from they have a picture of a guy called the "raft man" who paddles aliens across the Rio Grande, so I guess we are being invaded by the Mexican equivalent of the SEALS as well.

MS-13 is here in Colorado. The rapes/prostitution of mentally disabled girls is a problem.
