The flip side of the eco-fundimentalisim on the left, is the creationist-fundimentalists on the right.
Two sides of the same uneducated, emotional, anti-science coin.

Oh come on! There's *lots* of room for scientific investigation in the creationist/I.D. world:
- Did the Designer have a long white beard?
- Was he sitting on a throne, or was he standing on a cloud?
- Did he shout 'Kazam!'? Or something biblical-sounding like 'Make it So!'?
- Were there a bunch of angels standing around watching, or did they come later?
- Does the Designer wake up one day and decide 'I want some bunnies'? (since they can't have evolved from something else.) How does he decide what new creature to create? Does he wave a magic wand, or make mysterious mand gestures?
See, lots of room for valid scientific research!

They're worlds apart. The correct parallel would be to Soviet "science".
