CA: LEGISLATIVE ALERT: SB840 -- socialized Medicine

Perhaps ALL STATES can have a look at this:

Taxpayer's Bill of Rights for Georgia One overlooked development coming out of the 2005 Session of Georgia's Legislature was the creation of a study committee to examine the potential benefits of enacting a Taxpayer's Bill of Rights(TABOR)(view the bill by clicking here).

Atzlan Quotes:

"In an extraordinary political move, President Vicente Fox has announced the formation of a cabinet level agency to govern, protect and provide services to over 20 million Mexicans now living in Aztlan, a territory encompassing most of the southwest part of the USA. President Fox declared yesterday that he will personally lead the new agency he named "Consejo Nacional para las Comunidades Mexicanas en el Exterior" (National Council for Mexican Communities Abroad). The "Council" will consist of the president, most of the cabinet secretaries and a, as of yet unnamed, representative from Aztlan. This is a bold move that essentially extends the arm of the Mexican government into the territories it previously lost during the Mexican-American War of 1848." ~ Reported in "La Voz de Aztlan", August 7, 2002.

"We have Nicaragua, soon we will have El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico. One day, tomorrow or five years or fifteen years from now, we're going to take 5 to 10 million Mexicans and they are going into Dallas, into El Paso, into Houston, into New Mexico, into San Diego, and each one will have embedded in his mind the idea of killing ten Americans." ~Thomas Borge, Nicaragua Interior Minister as quoted in the Washington Times, March 27, 1985

Playing the raza card

In addition, they, along with his eminence, Mexican President Vicente Fox, believe they should be allowed to vote in our elections as well as Mexico's, even if they know less English than I know Greek

I sure didn't need to start my day with this. What's the answer? Private hospitals? Keep the patients on-site to work off the bill? Deduct all the medical bills from the aid we send south, and when they can't pay we start to annex tourist towns like Cabo, Cancun, and Cozumel? I don't know, but it really pisses me off.

Excellent article.. a must read!

Deficits force layoffs

"We had super-deficits the last two years," says Dickson, who solved his budget crisis by laying off about 35 of the hospital's 130 employees and eliminating medical services such as the long-term care center. "This has had a very negative impact on our hospital."

Arizona has been particularly burdened since the mid-1990s, when U.S. border crackdowns in Texas and California began funneling illegal immigrants and drug smugglers to the state's 350-mile border with Mexico. Last year, Arizona accounted for 52% of the 1.1 million illegals captured by Border Patrol agents in the Southwest. [snip]

But I thought they were only coming here for the jobs./s

So American taxpayers are not only forced to pay for the medical care and everything else to reward illegal aliens living here, but NOW we are forced also to medicate Mexican citizens too???? WHAT A DEAL FOR THEM - WHAT AN INSULT TO AMERICAN TAXPAYERS!!!!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Jorge and Vicente trade oil stories...

A couple highlights in my words:

1. In 2002, 38 Arizona health care places combinedd were out $153 million due to illegals.

2. The Feds plan on recouping 30% of their losses. Of the billion dollars estimated to cover that plan, Arizona gets 45 million a year.
