His column used to be in the Washington Times and I read him after 9/11 but was struck by the unrelenting negativity. It got so bad that I just stopped reading him and I don't believe the Times runs his columns anymore or if he's widely syndicated. I sense he's a nuttier version of John McLaughlin and Pat Buchanan--conservatives who jumped the shark.

I was surprised to see him posted on this site and how far he's come from even when I was reading him.

That's all I know.

It's been several years since I read this guy too. Last time was on the Metrorail coming home. He had some nonsense article that was so poorly organized I assumed he had a stroke or was using drugs of some kind.

BTW, HL Mencken in his declining years kept secret journals filled with anti-Jewish invective. Whenever you find yourself in a discussion with a Liberal and they cite Mencken, remind them that Mencken was secretly an anti-semite ~ and you can prove it too!

Charitble folks credit it to a series of small strokes the man had. I give Roberts the same latitude as well. However, there is no longer any need to read him.
