Please join the Hispanic Alliance for Progress Institute at a rally for Justice Priscilla Owen at the Texas Capitol building in Austin next Tuesday!
Please turn out to support Justice Owen, who has been nominated for the U.S Court of Appeals by President Bush, but whose nomination is being stalled by U.S. Senate Democrats.

Honorable Priscilla Ping!
See ya in Austin 5/24 at high noon.
But, but...I thought the Dems said confirming Owens was going to be a blow to Minority Rights?!? You mean to say some minorities actually are backing her??? Wait til the media finds out..they'll make sure nobody knows.

Thanks Swinney. I've sent a notice to our Freepers. Hope there's a good turnout
I just called to find out the agenda for tomorrow. Commissioner Michael Williams and ex Texas Supreme Court Justice Raul Gonzalez will be speaking on behalf of Priscilla Owen.
Ex Texas Supreme Court Justice Raul Gonzalez 1984-1998 was the last Democrat I ever voted for.
Yep, He's a Democrat appointed by Gov. Perry and defeated in the next primary by Stephen Smith who then lost to Perry friend Justice Green.
Rally tomorrow bump!
(hi swinney!)
You're thinking of Xavier Rodriguez, Gracey.
oops. You're correct. Getting those names mixed up.
Thanks.
I have my sign made now and hope to see you out there.
