they're trying to get Rush to "take the bait" - he should ignore and let them ferment in their own ignorance.

I think he should take them up on their offer and then wipe the floor with their raggedy little arses!

A heck of a lot more people know of Limbaugh than this self-important twit.

Some Evanston students want to write letters to Rush Limbaugh. Unfortunately they didn't know how.
Evanston Supt. Allan Alson said Limbaugh spoke "inaccurately and unconscionably" during his May 10 commentary.
"Everyone knows who Hitler is," said senior Brian Minor.
"That was bogus," said junior Robyn Curtis.

Ever notice how easily and quickly the liberal left get out of control when they are criticized?
Their emotional immaturity and ignorance is astounding!

I'm sure they DO know who Hitler is. After all, their teachers probably compare him to President Bush every single day.

I have a different solution. Rush should take the bait but with a twist. They debate a team of Home schoolers organized by Rush's people. That should be fun to watch and hear. I bet they back away faster than a mouse from a lean and angry cat.
To: rface
Of course they know who Hitler is -- he was someone almost as evil as Bush!
To: rface
Kids, you might think Rush Limbaugh is a master baiter...but in comparison, trust me, you are raw apprentices.

"Everyone knows who Hitler is," said senior Brian Minor. Given the way some wantonly throw around the Hitler name, I don't think so.
"That was bogus," said junior Robyn Curtis.
What a vocabulary!

Oh, I'm sure they do! I just wonder if they were permitted to study the evil white men from Europe that founded this country. Or ever read the Declaration of Independecne or know what Memorial Day, Labor Day or know who George Washington are. Yeah, they study something but it's typically unpatriotic and smacks of hatred for our conservative leaders.

Oh, they know about Hitler...it's part of the culture of hatred.
They might, however, not know much about Washington, Paul Revere, or the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

No. It actually speaks to how dead they are to American culture.

The reaction to the conservative talk-show host comes after Limbaugh put down Evanston Township High School's multicultural curriculum during his nationally syndicated radio show. How did these "future leaders" even hear Rush's comments? I thought kids were supposed to be in school in from 11-2 (CDT).
To: rface
High school students are earnest and passionate enough but they're ignorant. That isn't a criticism, they simply haven't had the time or opportunity to gather an adult's store of knowledge. The smart ones know this.
I think it a little beneath the dignity of a well-adjusted adult to slap the kiddies around even when they're patently idiots. Sometimes I cringe to see it happen on FR. Sometimes I do it. So shoot me.
To: rface
Debating them would be a travesty, they would focus exclusively on the Hitler remark, and declare themselves the winners of any discussion. Left wingers aren't interested in facts and logic. There is no intelligent debate, just endless putdowns. Lefties are barely worth talking to. They play to the mob, ignore the question. It has all gotten so old.
