Byrd and Landrieu are the new Maverick Senators.

Have you seen any Byrd's harangues over the last couple of days? I'm not so sure he knew what he was voting for.

I was very surprised to see Byrd on the "Yea" list--what gives? This has to be some ploy, don't you think?

You seem confused. A Republican that votes against the party is a maverick. When a Democrat does it he gets no positive press.

Both "Red State" Democrats. Surprise, Surprise. These two may not support any filibusters that Dingy Harry and his gang may try to pull.
