I would normally agree with you. But they are using our tax money to supplement their low wages in order to keep their employees healthy and housed. When somebody is using my money (taxes) in order to get out of their obligations then I have a problem. I am very interested in how my tax money is spent. End the entitlement programs for both individuals AND businesses.

Like I said before,WALMART employees are taxpayers ,too!

What really gets me ,is that everyone is complaining that working,tax paying people qualify for government programs ,when we handout those same funds to illegal immigrants that don't contribute anything to those programs!

do you have figures on what all the other employees at all other retail places that pay minimum wage are being subsidized in government money? Probably not due to the fact that only walmart is under scrutiny. Take a look at any mall. Do you think the employees at the Gap or at Borders or at Bath and Body works working the registers make that much more than minimum wage? What about Target? Don't hear much about that, now do you? Why don't all of you who are throwing rocks at Walmart for their horrible wages go take a poll at other retail stores and find out what their starting pay is. Maybe...just maybe you might then see the light.
