FYI...my response to the Voinovich spectacle.
Great reply. I'm tempted to call his office and tell them at least Bolton IS a man.
I wonder what the budget for Kleenex is in the Voiovich office.
Well said. Thanks for the ping.
I am trying to picture Voinovich and Rove and Rummy drinking at a bar. It's not happening in my melon.
"V" needs meds or a thump upside the noggin'.
Sheesh.
Very good reply! That was one of the oddest spectacles I have witnessed on the floor of the Senate -- made no sense. He acted like his best friend had been killed. If he gets choked up and cries about the nomination of the UN Ambassador, then it is time for him to resign. Voinivich looked on the verge of a nervous breakdown -- really strange since as you said he didn't even bother to attend most of the hearings on Bolton.
The way he was whimpering, sniffing and whining, it's impossible to believe Violinovich, has the gonads to create children and grandchildren without a lot of help from his friends.
Seems time has come when the should be a two term time limit. When we have people who care more about the UN than they do about the USA. I think we should all fear for our children and grandchildren.
Thank you so much for your always stirring essays!
Voinovich appears to be a man under some duress, like maybe he would like to crawl out of his skin. Some internal struggle of some kind maybe. He seems to be very near the edge doesn't he? Or maybe he deserves an Oscar for his performance. Just from my brief obversations I'd place my bet on the former.

I think the citizens of Ohio should seriously consider a recall. Doubt if anyone will, but that should be an option on the plate.
Thanks for the ping. I get blocked so I will have to read the rest later from home. (dang it)
nice job, add me to your ping list Jeff.

PS: hope your recovery is going well...
Good job Jeff, I'm with you. Voinovich was pathetic, a spectacle indeed, a shameful performance.
Best of health. :-)
Great rebuttal... please send this to the Senator's office!
