Hey gang, so Deep Throat is revealed. Retired FBI agent Mark Felt told Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein the goods to bring down a presidency.

I remember Watergate during the summer of 1973. The hearings that were presided over by Sen. Sam Ervin (D-N.C.) provided me with the means to further my college education. That summer, I had just finished my sophomore year at Oswego State University. To make some cash and pick up a summer course or two, I spent my summer at school working at the public radio station on campus, WRVO-FM.

You know... I had to pick up a couple of odd and end jobs to put me through college, but DEEP THROAT never, ever came to mind. Anything for a buck, huh Al?

I know... but I couldn't resist.

Really unfortunate image you've created with that headline, Al.

Excuse me, but how in the h*ll did DEEP THROAT pay for your college education? Was the radio station and/or broadcasts specifically produced just to cover the Watergate Hearings? Therefore without the hearings you would not have a job?

This is like saying, thank God for Monica Lewinsky because I worked at a college radio station that broadcast the Special Prosecutor's hearings.

Why am I not surprised that Al Roker started out his career working for a public broadcasting station?
