Holy Shi'ite! Islam's double standard - (mistreatment of non-Muslims in Muslim countries!)

The Pentagon has acknowledged five instances in which guards or interrogators at the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, handled the Koran in such a way as to cause offense to some who believe it is the revealed word of Allah. Three are said to have been three deliberate and two unintentional.
Amnesty International has put the United States high on the list of countries it says are guilty of prisoner and human rights abuses because of the way suspected terrorists are treated. The chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, General Richard Myers, rebutted the notion of inappropriate treatment of detainees last weekend when he told Fox News Sunday that these are people who would "slit our throats, our children's throats" were they to be set free.
Islamic countries apply a double standard when it comes to the treatment of "holy books" and people who differ in faith and practice from Islamic dogma. While Islamic groups in the United States are engaged in "sensitivity training" sessions for non-Muslims that have included federal workers, the Ohio National Guard and U.S. Air Force Academy, there are no such training sessions directed at Muslims to teach them tolerance for non-Islamic faiths. Quite the contrary.
While the slightest verbal or physical slight of any Muslim in America is immediately condemned by activist groups and sometimes the U.S. government, the denigration of Jews and Christians throughout much of the Islamic world is theological and political business as usual. Jews are regularly referred to as "apes and pigs," mostly because that is what the Koran calls them.

This is not a double standard! The Koran says they are to take over the world. You either convert, or you are killed.

.. AI is independent of any government, political ideology, economic interest or religion. It does not support or oppose any government or political system, nor does it support or oppose the views of the victims whose rights it seeks to protect. It is concerned solely with the impartial protection of human rights. The above excerpt is from amnesty international website, however this organization has been imposing different standards in examining the abuses of human rights.
AI comdemned Israel for human rights abuses, and that's because AI examined Israel but not Hamas. Hamas killed civilians and where's AI voice on that ? Just read it under "Armed conflict and impunity" under "Middle East and North Africa" section of this report.
I continued perusing the "Amnesty International Report 2005" and clicked on "Middle East and North Africa" section. Here under "Womens rights and violence against women", there is no mentioned of Saudi Arabia. Same thing in "Asia and the Pacific" , Pakistan was not mentioned under "Womens rights and violence against women" where honor killing are common.
I reckon, just like the UN, amnesty international needs to be reformed. It has become just another anti-american organization out there.

No it doesnt. Do you know anything about the koran. Don't post a comment that deals with something that you know nothing about.

I'm simply done with the irrational crap that Islam spreads as religion.
They openly state that they intend to kill all people who will not be forced into their religion. The reply to that is simple, KILL THEM FIRST!!!!!
They will publicly beat/lash a Christian for openly reading the bible in public in Arab nations. They will kill a Christian for sharing the Christian faith with others in the world of Islam.
The Christians preach tolerance and understanding while Islam preaches death, torture, and destruction.
Sooner or later this will become a direct confrontation for the existence of Christianity. I see no reason to wait until the Muslims kill thousands more Christians before we engage them in the struggle that they have not only started but that their so called religion demands of them.
If we drop a single neutron bomb on an Arab Islamic city every time they start any crap this would all end a lot sooner.
Listen to what the Islamic world is saying, THEY ARE TELLING US THAT THEY WILL KILL US AND DISTROY OUR WAY OF LIFE!!!!!
These are their words, their plans, their religious goals, clearly, openly, and repeatedly stated.
I chose to believe what they say they are going to do and I believe that we need to protect ourselves and respond right now.
I am amazed that others do not listen to the plans for our death and destruction that they profess on a daily basis.
Lock and load and make them glow.

OK. Let's just say that a whole bunch Islamo-Facists have perverted the true message of the Koran, to mean convert or be killed.

Most Americans learned what was in the Quran on 9/11!
"What is best in life?" To crush the jihadists, to drive their collaborators before you, and to hear the lamentations of the mullahs! Allahu Fubar!

They are just following the teaching of their "holy" book and their founder, Muhammad.

Just wondering: how many Korans were "desecrated" when these ragheads blew up the Masque in Pakistan?
