Inquiring minds want to know.

This just proves that giving economic aid to Latin American countries is money down a rat hole.

For all of the funny sterotypical comments about Latin America, this is a real cause for concern.

Many Latin American countries are moving from reforming to free markets to full blown socialism. They are skipping the European concept of socialism and the people are demanding a more hard core version.

Keep your eyes on Mexico with Lopez Obrador next year. This will be sitting in our backyard.

I know there are some very informed Freepers on Latin America, but cocaine jokes only show an ignorance for what is really going on there.

Saludos de Ecuador.

I see no hope for Bolivia while the people are shouting for nationalization of the gas firm. The only good news is that leftist countries have more market share in the Bolivian gas market that US firms will not be affected a lot as others for the nationalization. The involved leftist countries in the Bolvian gas market are such as France, Spain, and Brazil.
