A statement like that really tells you a lot about him.

They don't call him John "F" Kerry for nothing.

So he even lied to his own father about his college grades. I can think of a few things that "D" stands for with respect to John Kerry but none of them are fit for polite company.

And were his father anyone other than Richard a/k/a "Dick the Gigolo" Kerry, the father would have responded, "Dis stinks, son!"

Kerry had a cumulative average of 76 and got four Ds his freshman yearNow, why is the statement above, no where NEAR this statement? Bushs highest grade at Yale was an 88 in anthropology, history and philosophy. He received one D in his four years

I don't know, another 'D' word comes to mind:

I think this release of transcript data is to defuse the "didn't sign the form 180" attack. It's slightly embarrasing, but doesn't mention Kerry's original dishonorable discharge that was changed to honorable years later.
We should not let up on this, because he will try to run again (although, if he got the nomination over Hillary!, it's much less likely he'd win).

I always told my dad that D stood for distinction, Kerry said . . .If President Bush (or even Governor Bush in 1999 or 2000) had said this, it would have been trumpeted on front pages across the country as proof of his stupidity.
