Hillary Clinton slams 'abusive' Bush
Sydney Morning Herald, Fairfax Digital & AP ^ | June 8, 2005

Posted on 06/08/2005 9:45:17 PM PDT by yoe

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has criticised President George Bush's administration for its record on unemployment, women's rights and the environment, saying it is "intent upon consolidating and abusing power".

"We are living in a time when the other side doesn't want us to see the facts. Facts are inconvenient - facts about global warming, facts about mercury in the air, facts about people staying unemployed longer," said Senator Clinton, a possible Democratic contender for the US presidency in 2008.

The former first lady spoke yesterday at a New York Women for Hillary breakfast, which raised $US250,000 ($327,000) for her Senate re-election campaign.

"There has never been an administration, I don't believe, in our history more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," she said of Mr Bush's Government.

Hillary as usual, is being given a pass on this, "she was doing a fund raiser". Hillary should be called on the carpet for slamming her President and her country while our men and women in uniform are fighting for freedom, the freedom that allows this pitiful woman to spew venom once again. It is simply amazing how John Kerry, Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid continue to vilify the Bush administration making our masterful President stand head and shoulders above these pitiful Socialists; President Bush would never speak in such a manner about any of them. Amazing; just goes to show the world and the nation what an incredible leader he is and what low life the left is – no one is missing this point!

Don't be a CINO (Conservative in Name Only)
Don't listen to CINO's in politics,
the Main Stream CINO media,
and even here on Free Republic.

Remember all who told you not to worry about klintoon, hitlery and reno
after the 2000 election?

Remember all who said Ashcroft would prosecute them.

Remember Chinagate, Pardongate, Waco, Vince Foster, the Jewish town in NY etc., etc., etc. ?

Well reno ran against Jeb Bush and hitlery wants to beat Hanoi Kerry in 08

Are YOU willing to listen to the CINO's again?

I'm still wondering why everyone is afraid of Hillary. She is an inept speaker, women can't stand her in general, and her record is lacking, to say the least.

I don't think she will win the nomination, let alone the Presidency.

Well.....if the state of Washington is any indication....she may not LEGALLY win, but, she could "win."

True. But that's SOP for the MSMedia and the political left. They're the ones with what's left of their credibility on the line. Let her spew and stew. They still have no new constructive ideas...only criticism.

LOL! and who voted against a woman for a judgeship today?
On another thread, someone mentioned she wasn't in her pantsuit rig; "CRUSTY ONE". Made me want to go back into the shop and spray lacquer without the PPE to get the visual out of my mind.

...facts about mercury in the air,...

I don't know about you, but I have a difficult time dodging those heavy metal droplets that seem to be floating around everywhere.

What a slackwit. "Smartest Woman in the World", indeed!

Well, her "husband" sold nuclear secrets to China, was best buddies with Arafat, and is a rapist, adulterer, and perjurer (among many other things), yet there are a HUGE number of people who absolutely worship the ground he walks on and think he is some sort of god.

By all means, she should glom onto Kerry's dramatic "charges".

I don't get it either, and I live in NYS. Voted against her, and will again and again.

She is the equivalent of one of those bitchy minipulative girls we had to put up with when we were in the eighth grade. She may be older, but she is still trying to pull the same s@#t that worked so well back then.

What I just don't get is why so many of our fellow citizens can't spot her "shtick", and rise up and smack her down? I know these tactics worked way back in 8th grade, and in girls' schools/womens' colleges everywhere, but how come we can't stop them now?

I am seriously growing tired of the Republican party. I am, and will be, a conservative till I turn toes up, but the pubbies are letting me down. Do I dare say "big-time"? I know that the art of politics is like watching molasses pour on a cold day, butI am losing faith.

Well, gee, it's not like he raped a woman or something.

I mean, I could see it if he was getting Monicas in the oval office and then lying about it.

Now that would be an impeachable offense.

I don't think this country is ready for Clinton part two. President Clinton was a lousy President, leaving the economy in shambles, and a terrorist enabler. Most people know this and "won't be fooled again." If he would have been a good President, then she might have a chance. The Republicans are salivating over the idea of her being the Dims nominee. She has more baggage than a FedEx 747. And under pressure, Hillary will make Howard Dean look sane.
