Hooked on Phonics Worked for Kerry (Barely)- (HooAH! - "D" for "dummy" at Yale!)

Even as a young scholar, John F. Kerry had nuance.

Apparently, so much so that his professors at Yale mistook him for an idiot.

At least, that’s the look of things from Kerry’s records as a college student.

As it turns out, if the Dr. Stephen Hawking Award for Genius was handed out between the two candidates in the 2004 presidential election, George W. Bush would have taken home the prize.

It seems that Kerry—the supposedly complex, intellectual giant of the 2004 presidential campaign—received four D's out of ten classes his freshman year at Yale, and an overall composite grade average that was worse than Bush’s—the man liberals constantly decry as “the dumbest man in America.”

And let’s just say that from the looks of Kerry’s college photograph, it wasn’t because young Johnny was out wowing girls at toga parties with his dashing good looks and manly physique.

On the Yale grading scale, John F. Kerry scored a 61 in geology, a 63 and 68 in two history classes, and a 69 in political science. If he’d slacked off just a tiny bit more, the F could stand for "Flunked out of Yale."

Although let’s be serious here, is there anyone familiar with Kerry's politics that is actually surprised to learn he got D's in politics and history? Anyone want to wager whether he passed or flunked the exam on The Constitution?

The only thing any less surprising is the fact that one of Kerry’s best classes was French, where he scored a whopping 77! It all makes so much sense now.

"I always told my dad that D stood for distinction," Kerry said yesterday. After a look at Kerry’s grades, the D would more appropriately stand for dopey, dimwitted, Democrat. Or, Duhhhhh…

Unfortunately, Kerry’s record of sub par achievement continued following his graduation from Yale. He went from Vietnam War protester, to lawyer, to lieutenant hovernor for Michael Dukakis, to Ted Kennedy sidekick, to failed presidential candidate.

All that’s left now for him to complete the circle of misery is a spot as DNC chairman and a job with Air America Radio. Although, you’ve got to hand it to the guy, he never stops trying!

It is now clear that liberals have nothing on President Bush anymore, what with the revelation that their best French-looking presidential nominee is still dumber than the “misunderestimated, nucular, cowboy” currently sitting in the White House. Compared to Kerry, it looks like the president got both the brains and the brawn.

Without the cornerstone of every liberal argument—that conservatives are stupid—we’re left to wonder what’s left for left-wing Democrats to bicker about.

I can hear it now: ''Well, Kerry’s wife makes more money than Mrs. Bush!''

And, the greatest pain for a Boston left-wing elitist is the fact that W graduated from Yale and went to Harvard. Traitor John graduated from Yale and was rejected by Harbard and had to settle for, what was it, Boston College, where the working folks go. No wonder his first wealthy wife got rid of him, see couldn't bear the shame of being a Boston liberal elitist married to a Boston College grad. The disgrace! The Kennedy's send their servants to Harvard (of course, Kennedy's servants hadn't been cashiered by the USN nor disgraced by treason).

Thanks for posting this, my friend. It confirms my impressions of Kerry when I met him in 1963 when he showed up at the Yale Political Union for his first debate. I was then an officer of the Union.

My impression of Kerry then was that he was an arrogant, social climber, always on the look out for those who had more money, more social status, or both, than he had. Also, I thought he was a dilettante in his academics. These reports confirm that.

I was no great shakes as a student, but my grades were better than his. We were almost the same age, but I was two years ahead of him, because I skipped a grade, but he was held back a year for an extra prep school year to "prepare" him for the Ivy League.

I never thought John Kerry would amount to much. Turned out I was right. LOL.

John Kerry was and is a not very bright, shallow self-involved gigolo. Keeping him out of the presidency was a great achievement. Many thanks to the Swifties to whom we are indebted yet again.

The true joy that we all feel that this fool is not the President of the United States is a never ending source of pleasure.. It is true that there are very, very bright people who are not motivated by good grades at the college level. John Kerry is not one of them.

I can hear it now: ''Well, Kerry’s wife makes more money than Mrs. Bush!''

Theresa Heinz inherited more money than Laura Bush.

If you compare work careers, Laura Bush probably earned more money than Theresa Heinz ever did.

Did Theresa attend college or just training to be an interpreter?

Let's give him credit. Kerry is a VERY accomplished gigolo. Not just once, but twice. First $300 million, and then a billion. How many gigolos can boast of a record like that?
