The latest example of juvenile behavior by Senate Democrats.

Seems the Patriot Act so far must have done some good things, we haven't had anything on the scale of a 9-11 since 9-11 and I refuse to believe that was only due to luck.
The Democrats I believe would allow American death in exchange for their personal power. I think they have gotten that shrill.

I actually feel for the Pubs. You can't earn enough to make it worth working with these idiot Dems. They refuse to engage in intelligent discourse and instead rely on trying to be the one who shouts the loudest! Dean IS their perfect chairman.

I read about this earlier! Rude? This, coming from a member of the party of obstruction?
Would have loved to have seen Nadler moving his mouth with only portions of his sentences being heard! Maybe SNL will do a skit on this, lotsa laughs!

How would Nadler know what American honor looks like? He's such a lard@ss I'm sure he hasn't seen anything but the bridge of his nose and the horizon for decades. He probably kept turning off his mike while fumbling around for a loose jelly doughnut.

This is all out obstructionism and terrorist coddling on the part of the Demolibs. The pubbies could bury these idiots with a well orchestrated PR campaign but they are too damn disorganized and gutless to do it.
Absolutely incredible that a political party is more concerned about giving this country a black eye and putting our people in danger than doing the right thing. What a useless, America hating political organ.

The four witnesses were from groups, including Amnesty International USA ............ have questioned the constitutionality of some aspects of the act, which allows law enforcement greater authority to investigate suspected terrorists. The same group that called for a capturing of our US officials while traveling abroad?

When frustrated with the Senate, The House is most often a breath of fresh air. So it is in this case.
Rep. James Sensenbrenner, You done Good! This is how the lunatics must be treated.

This was so HOT!!
Sensenbrenner was gaveling to close and there was Nadler yelling into his microphone.
Stinking democrats .. they called the hearing for one purpose - to bad-mouth America and FINALLY some repubs had the spine to get up and leave.
And .. to invite Amnesty Intl - after their smarmy comments .. was like rubbing salt in a wound.
Like the article said .. this was a one-sided hearing where they heard nothing but bad stuff about America and then it started leaning toward how bad Gitmo was and I guess our guys had enough.
I wonder how many times the dems did this kind of thing to the repubs ..??

James Zogby, president of the Arab American Institute, speaking immediately after Sensenbrenner left, voiced dismay over the proceedings. "I'm troubled about what kind of lesson this gives" to the rest of the world, he told the Democrats remaining in the room Yes, it emboldens our enemies, both foreign and domestic.

I REALY wish the republicans would put the MSM and the crybaby democrat (gay) party in their place.
It is time for the adults to take charge.

"Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., chairman of the panel, abruptly gaveled the meeting to an end and walked out, followed by other Republicans."
I LOVE this! The mental image does me a world of good. This is a Republican leader with some chutzpah. He had every right to end this meeting abruptly since it was the 11th one since April. The dems clearly had no intention of doing anything other than to obstruct the proceedings like they always do. Great job, Rep. Sensenbrenner!

You mean Jerrold "the Hutt" Nadler hasn't exploded yet?
Maybe someone could pass him one of those "wafer thin mints..." a la Mr. Creosote in "The Meaning of Life" by Monty Python.
But seriously, I think my tagline says it all.......

I'm troubled, deeply troubled, by the word choice the democrats use, with some effect. Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid and their little step sister, Nancy P, have an open microphone to utter those sentiments to the american public.
They ring hollow, because they are hollow.

"We are not besmirching the honor of the United States, we are trying to uphold it," he said [Nadler].This is the kind of ripe palaver I truly loathe. Sure. They are valiantly trying to uphold the honor of this administration, which is busy saving their sorry a$$es.
