(((MS PING)))
Philadelphia is also the home of a casino.
There's not going to be a "Klan Uprising" just because well, it would not be a good thing for either the Mississippi Gaming Commission or the Choctaw Nation (as it were)
""We have a great town," Johnson said. "I just hope things don't rip us in half.""
The parties pushing for this trial could not care less if that is one of the results.
Philly is a great town.I do lots of bizness and fishing round there...not too mention gambling but its a good town with good folks
And while the hand wringing liberals are on a roll, maybe they will investigate and prosecute the murders of 71 innocent whites in CA during the 1970's? These killings know as the "Zebra Killings" have been all but been forgotten since the perps were black racists that do not fit the liberal politically correct mold that only whites can be racist. These innocent whites were killed simply because of their race. Where is the liberal outrage?

I saw a report on NBC last night that the NKoreans us the USS Pueblo as proof that the U.S wants to attak them. They even give tours to the willing media types. It's only a 35 years story. But hey, nothing like using the past to condemn the preseent. I guess Mississippi has been caught in a time warp.
More weary than wary here!!
From the other thread
"Philadelphia is a small town - 7,300 people, just over half of whom are white, just under half black and the rest Choctaw Indian"
Which liberal is lying?
"Which liberal is lying?"
ALL of 'em.
;o)
"Just let the issue die," Whitley said. "They should've done it sooner instead of waiting 'til now."
His sentiment is understandable, given the fact of how long ago this happened. But there is no statute of limitations on murder, so if the jury convicts him on the evidence, he has to face the consequences of his actions. Yes, even if it was that long ago.
According to US Census data from 2000. Philadelphia's population was 7,303 persons (55% White, 40% Black, 2% American Indian).
The perpetrators surely need to be brought to justice. But does this negate these murders in 1964?
Love your tagline. Nick Cannon is my new pop-culture hero!
I agree with you.
It is going to be hard on the community,
but justice needs to be done.
So DC2K was right AGAIN!!!
Duh! DC2k = always right.
LOL!
It was a no-brainer. ;o)
Hopefully these murders of 1964 can be finally laid to rest once and for all.
The larger danger is that it will attract a circus of white liberal journalists, intent on reinforcing their stereotypes.
