Porn star, political candidate. And now you can add one more line to Mary Carey's resume: Republican booster.
Carey was in Washington Tuesday to attend the President's Dinner, an annual fundraiser put on by the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
A few hours before the dinner, Carey met with reporters to show off her evening gown and talk about the Republican lunch that she and her boss, adult film executive Mark Kulkis, attended.
'I met a lot of nice people,' Carey said of the lunch, where presidential advisor Karl Rove spoke. 'I met some people who talked about helping me on my next campaign.'
She plans to run for lt. governor as an independent. But her trip to Washington has swayed Carey's political leanings. She said that she had been a Republican 'for a couple of days.'
Anyone expecting her to have caused a scene with her attire at the President's Dinner might have been disappointed.
She wore a black floor length gown with the only color added to her outift being a red, white and blue elephant lapel pin and similarly painted patriotic fingernails.

She looks like Mariah Carey's younger, heftier sister! Alan looks downright "lifelike" in that photo, LOL!
And some tents are bigger than others!

I don't recall all this MSM attention when Goober and Broom Hilda had Larry Flint slither into their campaing.
Is that the purple strap from Alan's handbag?
It would be nice if she had a career change.
Its nice she's becoming a Republican instead of a DemocRAT, but if she were a simple prostitute instead of a porn star, her prior experience would be more job-related for the field of politics - and it might acutally have injected a new level of honesty to the "profession" of politician.
At any rate, she'd get my vote.
That's because the MSM doesn't cover things that are a natural fit.
Even our porn stars are better than theirs.
And at least all of our porn stars admit being such instead of denying it...
Being in porno is about doing all the work yourself, with no subsidies, no assistance and no unions.
It is the ultimate individualist do it yourself business. Her party affiliation makes sense!
