I don't understand. Why would he feel the need to drug her if they'd been having an affair? It's obvious she was willing before, why would he have to resort to subterfuge?

Weird. Why would he drug her after they've already had sex a few times? The story stinks!

Exactly.

And why didn't we hear from any of these twelve women before Cosby went on tour to scold the black community for tolerating ebonics, trash talk, and high drop out rates, to say nothing of drug use and gangsterism?

Same reason we didn't hear about Jesse Jackson's love child until just before he decided to stage a protest at President Bush's inaguration.

Not that I support Jesse's protest or accusing President Bush of anything. Just noting the simliarity how the timing was particularly inconvenient for the men in both cases.

Slimeball slut claims to have knowingly and willingly had an adulterous affair with a married man to further her "career", but now, decades later, smells some more cash in alleging he slipped her drugs to cop a feel after the breakup. Sorry, my giveadamn is busted.

This tactic seems to be getting quite popular lately. Have an affair with a celebrity and then cry rape.

I wonder if it will prompt celebrity men to be a bit more selective?

The "tactic" has always been popular.
I have no factual based opinion of Bill Cosby's personal sexual life. I have enjoyed his comedic work for decades.
He might very well be a scumbag.
I find it very odd that a man of his immense fame is only recently being charged with bad moral behavior.
I pay little attention to tabloid type gossip about entertainers, but this kind of reputation destroying allegation seems to be of very recent vintage against Bill Cosby.
It does not smell right.

There's no doubt Cosby has done some philandering in his time. He's admitted to affairs in the past. I would not be surprised if he had a consenual affair with this woman.

Of course, he's not the only one. That doesn't diminish him much in my eyes. Greater men than he have had moral failings in this area.

The question is whether he's guilty of rape or sexual assault. I seriously doubt that. It's just way too easy to have an affair with someone rich and famous and then cry rape, and half the time they'll pay you off just to shut up.

She's about as phony as that family of grifters going after Michael Jackson's fame and fortune.

Wolf! Wolf!

"The impact on my life has been monumental," she said. "You can't keep secrets if you're being hurt, if you're being victimized. He made me feel like I'd done something wrong."

Oh, for cryin' out loud. There goes into the dustbin, another myth about the so-called "strong" woman... oh boyo.... When's her book coming out. When's she doing the "talk circuit" on liberal MSM shows? "I am woman, hear me snivel, buy my book and hear me quibble"

21 years ago? The alleged events could buy their own drinks! If there was a problem, it should have been aired out long before now. Something reeks.

Blech! 5 foot 11, 85 pounds, and no teeth? Sounds like a crack whore.

A foot shorter and a flat head, she'd be perfect!

It’s coming out all at once because once one person tells their story of victimization, it is much easier for the rest to follow suit. Strength in numbers and all that. Besides she passed a polygraph.

You CAN be raped by someone you dated or are married to, you know.

Because rapists don’t rape for sex, they rape for power. It gives them a thrill to take that power away from the women. It’s the same reason he paid her and kicked her out of the apartment. He wasn’t turned on by the vanilla sex anymore, so he wanted to make her feel used. Which he did. And then he did it again when he raped her.

England had their cast of their major celebrity. For years there were whispers but nothing was ever done. It turned out he raped over 500 women and used his celebrity status to cover for it. Search for Jimmy Savile.
