Don't be ridiculous! There's nothing liberal about these people!

Actually, there's a difference between being politically or socially conservative or liberal, versus the judicial definition.

Judicial liberals believe that the Constitution is a living document, and means what they want it to mean. Judicial conservatives believe that the Constitution actually means what it says.

This ruling IS a liberal ruling.

The Left has commandeered the word liberal, and I for one refuse to let them have it. The word means open minded and freedom loving. It comes from the same root as liberty. These people are the opposite of all this. They are totalitarian, closed minded, contemptuous of freedom, and the opposite of liberal.

To refer to Leftists as liberal is as Orwellian as "love is hate" and "war is peace."
