This happened some time ago. I'm not sure exactly, but it might have been before Homeland Security formed. Adele Fasano was a legacy INS port director.
Oh, and welcome to FR.

But I thought that sexual harassment of a subordinate in the office during working hours was just private conduct. Or is that only if they are amenable to the suggestion, and your a Democrat President?

The solution is easy.
Create the Department of Homeland Security Compliance Office.

Seriously, the work situation must have been terrible. the sexual harrassment policies are NOT that difficult to follow, and if she won the suit, it had to have been one of fear for her. I feel sorry for her.
Most of the cases of SH I have read about, I think it is a gold digger trying to get a free ride, but , somehow, I have different feeling about this one......Bob

That's cute. This is a press release from Julia. Probably the only way to get it in the press.

Kind of a cheesy story. It doesn't begin to explain what the harassment consisted of.

The management personnel at the San Ysidro Port of Entry are some of the most, if not the most corrupt management in the U.S. goverment. Sally Carrillo attempted to kill a seven month pregnant inspector. The situation was completely covered up by the corrupt management. Sally Carrillo was picked up entering the United States in a vehicle that was flagged armed and dangerous, with a well know narcotic smuggler, doing the driving. The situation was completely covered up the the corrupt management. I worked there for thirteen
