Any law or institution created under the aegis of occupation is devoid of both legal and moral authority.

Guess this means the Palestinian Authority is no more?

Japan, Germany, France, Italy...?

Oh no .. not he PA .. they're a victim of Israel's cruel oppression - so they have the right to fight back.

No, actually, the hard left is brutally consistent. I guarantee you that if the PA or a similar institution ever genuinely pursued peace this crowd would turn on it without hesitation, declaring that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other armed groups represented the real "will of the people in their legitimate struggle for self-determination, blah, blah, blah."

They'd rather that Palestinians were making war against Israel, but if the Palies ever threatened to make peace with Israel the hard left would favor the bloodiest possible civil war among the Palestinians as preferable. For these folks anything is preferable to free people, unthreatened and at peace. They recognize that the "revolution" will never occur under such circumstances. War, strife and the deligitimization of all liberal institutions is their constant aim.
