I think the earthquake that caused the indonesian tsunami had more of an effect on the earths orbit than deep impact will have on the roid.

Well, if I let my more superstitious side get the better of me, I'd say that we're about to commit a gross violation upon the music of the spheres. Zodiacally, you'd be looking at altering fate to a certain degree, of ourselves, our nations, everything.

But, all this is just a beautiful, old pre-Enlightenment attempt at explaining the workings of creation. Nothing to fear. That is, unless it's far less dense than anticipated. In which case, we might have several different pieces of the former comet, same periodicity but different trajectories... potentially not so good.

I'm looking forward to the show, nonetheless.
