The web address below is if you would like to sign an online petition regarding the decision by the United States Supreme Court regarding the seizure of our land for private use.

Please consider signing this petition calling for the impeachment of the Supreme Court Justices that demonstrated their "anti-American" philosophies and ruled against Constitutional principles.

It can't hurt?? I think it hurts if it makes conservatives look utterly ridiculous.

Glad you weren't' around for the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The only thing any judge swears to do is to uphold the Constiution and there are so many decisions that most people know are utterly ridiculous. It's time as a nation we start beating the drums against these clowns. Even if the outrage does not get rid of a judge I think people will see that at least it was a just procedure.

Please explain for us the relationship between the Declaration of Independence and an ineffective, ignored on-line petition.

Uhhh.... anytime you don't like a SCOTUS decision you have a real simple way to reverse it - it's called a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT. Instead of pushing a truly STUPID anti-flag burning amendment, we should instead push for an amendment to modify the Fifth Amendment so as to reverse the recent SCOTUS decision by defining "public use" as not including use for private or for-profit development or anything other than a building, roadway, etc. that is for use at anytime by all members of the public.

I have no problem with anything you said in your post, but an on-line petition (by nature worthless) to have SC Justices impeached (which isn't going to happen) is just an invitation to ridicule. Conservatives need to use their capital wisely.

The proposed development, called "The Lost Liberty Hotel" will feature the "Just Desserts Café" and include a museum, open to the public, featuring a permanent exhibit on the loss of freedom in America. Instead of a Gideon's Bible each guest will receive a free copy of Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged."

Oh yeah and they are soooooooooo easy to implement too! Still waiting on that marriage amendment to even get off the ground!

"it's called a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT"

If you think that is "simple", you need to do some rethinking. It is very TOUGH to get 37 states to agree on a Constitutional amendment. That's why we don't have a boatload of them.

The simplest way is impeachment. Most likely a judge will not be tossed but the message would get out.

I signed the petition and what did it cost me? What will it cost whoever to present these figures to some politician in DC? Next to nothing. I see this petition, and I suspect there are others, as simply a way to get started. I heard that over 90% of Americans disapproved the SCOTUS decision on the property rights issue so IMO now is the time to start going after activist judges.

I admire the sentiment behind this, but on what basis can we actually impeach Supreme Court justices? Wouldn't we have to find something like a payoff from Wal-Mart?

I don't know. Why do you "waste" your time here? I'll just take a guess and say that you enjoy posting irrelevant comments like the above.

Dude, if that bastard Earl Warren could not be impeached for his egregious activism of the 1950s and 60s, no Supreme court justice will ever be. Forget about it.
