The point to be emphasized here is that out of the 28 battles, Mohammad fought 27 were offensive. They cannot even be called pre-emptive, since none of his adversaries had made plans to attack Mohammed. The Quraish had left him in peace after he fled to Medina. The Koran uses the principle of making a Hudna (pretence of making peace) when the enemy is strong, and using that period to making oneself stronger than the enemy. And after the enemy is weak to attack the enemy by giving offense and provoking the enemy.
NB: BY GIVING OFFENSE AND PROVOKING THE ENEMY.

The ferret is much smaller, the rabbit doesn't fear it because of it's relative size, but the ferret nips and bites and chases the rabbit until it is stressed and exhausted, then the ferret finds it easy prey.'
We have stilton. We also have muslims. They both stink.
But the London bombings showed the world one new wrinkle (one that you and I already knew). And that is that Islam can suck otherwise harmless adherents into its war on the world.
When God calls a person, it is hard to avoid Him. When Satan calls one of his minions, they also snap to attention and take up the cause.
There cannot be peace as long as Islam is permitted to exist on this planet (but you already know that).
