Wilson: The president should ‘fire Karl Rove’ (The hard hitting journalistic interview)
msnbc ^ | July 14, 2005

Posted on 07/14/2005 8:17:19 AM PDT by Indy Pendance

[snip]

Gangel: What do you think of Karl Rove?

Wilson: Oh, I think he's — I'm really very saddened by all of this.

Gangel: What does your wife think of Karl Rove?

Wilson: She doesn't think very much of him either. I can assure you of that.

[snip]

Gangel: Your critics have said that this is partisan on your part, that you are part of a Democratic attempt to discredit Iraq policy.

Wilson: That's simply not true.

Gangel: You are a Democrat?

Wilson: I exercise my rights as a citizen of this country to participate in the selection of my leaders. And I'm proud to do so. I did so in the election in 2000 by contributing not just to Al Gore's campaign but also to the Bush-Cheney campaign.

Gangel: Do you and your wife believe the perpetrators of this will ever be punished?

Wilson: We have great confidence in the institutions that have made our country great for 229 years. We would not have served our country for a collective 43 years if we did not believe in it. And yes, we do have — we do have confidence that justice will be done.

Gangel: Bottom line. What do you think the White House should do now?

Wilson: Well, I think the president should call in his senior advisers and say enough is enough. I want you to step forward and cooperate.

Gangel: Do you think even though what Karl Rove did may not have broken a law — do you think from what you know he should be fired?

Wilson: Absolutely. Absolutely.

Laura Ingraham played the audio today and hit her on her "hard hitting" questions.

The lamestream media is so obvious.

This, from the network that nixed airing Juanita Broaddrick's rape allegations during Clintoon's Impeachment.

I heard a rumor that Wilson had his wife's name published in "Who's Who" and listed her as a CIA employee.

True? False?

If true, and the book was published prior to this whole brouhaha, then how could anyone, be accused of blowing her cover?

Best Regards

This Wilson guy is a pussy and a tower of jello. No wonder he married the woman he did. They are both self-serving, supercilious, SOBs.

Jamie Gangel? Give me a break. Jamie was ALWAYS a Democrat and still is.

No soup for any of them!

Next!

Have we mentioned yet this morning that Wilson is a liar?

Almost nothing Wilson has said is true.

Contrary to his claims:

1. He did not investigate the Niger story.
2. The Niger story was true.
3. Niger and France were involved in contraband sales of uranium.
4. The IAEA did not monitor uranium mining in Niger.
5. His wife sent him.
6. CIA leadership did not.
7. He never wrote a report.
8. No one ever read the report he didn't write, because there wasn't one.
9. He was a Kerry operative at the time he wrote his first op-ed.

Hard-hitting?

The losers can call it anything they want.

It's delusional, non-sensical and juvenile. They get their kiddies all in a lather without affecting a single useful adult.

I have been convinced by the liberals that firing Rove is the way to go. Fire him-rehire him-give him a big raise and more authority. Rush Medical teams to the Congress to treat the liberals suffering from strokes, heard attacks, rabies and lockjaw.

The real question is: "What does Rove think of Wilson?"

Why wasn't Wilson's wife fired.

If she's been outed she obviously is no good to the agency.

Probably just another overpaid government hack who sits on her butt and makes dumb decisions.

Gangel: What does your wife think of Karl Rove? Wilson: She doesn't think very much of him either. I can assure you of that.

She's too stoooopid! and WGF what she sinks! Goebbels troops at work, hammering and hammering in hope that it becomes the "truth".

If Rove 'did it', then Bush should.

If Rove 'didn't do it', then Bush shouldn't.

Simple as that.

And if Rove did not do it, those that accused need to go to confession for bearing false witness, as perhaps the beginning of the debts they owe society. If Rove did do it, the GOP and White House had better jettison him quicker than as with a mosquito landing on an exposed arm at a summer family barbeque.
