You're being awfully judgemental [sic] for someone you don't even know.

I wasn't aware that personal acquaintance was a requirement for being judgmental. I am judgmental with respect to O.J. Simpson, Bernard Ebbers, and Sandy Berger, but I'm not a drinking buddy of any of them.

In Cunningham's case, the evidence is overwhelming. His decision not to seek reelection, especially given an announcement almost 16 months before the 2006 elections, is confirmation of the obvious.

Post 44: At the time, slavery was legally and morally acceptable according to society's standards of the day. explaining how it was okay to be a slaveowner in the past.

Post 45: Your quote about the Clintons' "service" (Bill Clinton served the country as President, just as his wife serves as Senator) was in direct response to my:

since doing so would be a denial of his [Cunningham's] service to our country.

You clearly grouped the Clintons' service with Cunningham's, saying that neither the Clintons service in political office nor Cunningham's in the military should be honored because of their corruption.

Why are you so far in denial now that you've been caught with your pants down?

Let's not wait for the facts? I guess you're part of the hang-Rove brigade too; am I right?

Duke would still win his district. I have a small suspicion that he's less certain of exoneration in this matter.

explaining how it was okay to be a slaveowner in the past.

For the record, I wrote a statement of fact about slavery and you're attempting to twist it into my opinion about slavery. I've already written my opinion about slavery, but you obviously missed that in you zeal to pants me.

You accused me of saying that I thought it was acceptable. Show where I wrote that I thought it was okay.

You clearly grouped the Clintons' service with Cunningham's, saying that neither the Clintons service in political office nor Cunningham's in the military should be honored because of their corruption.

Not quite, but nice try. Obviously you're confused.

Try turning it around the other way and see if it makes more sense.

Why are you so far in denial now that you've been caught with your pants down?

LOL! The only one caught with his pants down is your hero, Randy "Duke" Cunningham.

If you were not so biased you would see that joke most readily applies to your friend Mr. Clinton.

That's true. I'm biased against dishonesty and dishonor.

Not like you, at all.

Thanks for the informative narration of Cunningham.

How possibly can a hero such as he was do what he did? Did age make him greedy?

He was human. Humans have weaknesses. Recall that Benedict Arnold was an American hero before he became a traitor.
